EU - PETITION - NEWS EAR TAGS NO

The petition / signature collection has been submitted

First of all, the team of the Research Station for Goats and Dwarf Goats

would like to thank everybody who took active part in the EU petition

“no ear tags for goats and dwarf goats”

we are sure that especially the animals are thankful, too.

Unfortunately, the response was not very high, as we only received:

913 valid signature forms.

We received signatures also from children,

many arrived together with outstanding drawings: 56 forms.

After sending all correspondence concerning the EU petition on 15 August 2005

the responsible EU Commissioner General has now informed

the Research Station for Goats and Dwarf Goats

that all correspondence had arrived and is being dealt with.

Therefore, we are glad to inform you that the EU Commission takes our petition seriously.

As soon as there’s more news we will let you now straight away.
